Featuring the Bagman filling in the gaps
If you haven't seen or heard of the Bagman at least
once over the past 30 years then you have been
living under a rock. The Bagman has been a
cornerstone of the Queensland music scene, with his
shredding guitar chops, rock solid vocals and comedy
to boot. This writer has seen "Baggy" play more times
than you can count on your fingers... and toes and
still goes back for more. A virtuoso on any instrument
that falls into his grasp, be it a guitar, recorder, harmonica or a set of bagpipes... OK I've never seen him play the bagpipes but I'm sure he could do that too without a doubt. For this event the Bagman is going to fill the gaps on the day and will ensure that the entertainment factor is kept at a non-stop high.

So a couple of days ago we checked the festival email inbox and then we came across an application from an Amy Elise and instantly thought that sounds like a famous name. It didn't take long to realize we may have just stumbled on a future star in the making. At 14 Amy has certainly honed and cultivated an enticing sound to call her own, which has already earned her the recognition to travel to Blackbird studios in Nashville to write and record. That said we are proud to host Amy Elise to be a part of this festival and are looking forward to her performing for you.
QUEENSLAND singer-songwriter Kim Wright is aiming to continue the sound of country pioneers including George Jones, Merle Haggard and George Strait in his music.
The 2018 CMAA Academy of Country Music graduate has been playing music for 15 years, and has released his debut single, Man of the House, this year.
Kim’s biggest musical highlight so far has been performing at the 2018 Tamworth Country Music Festival Official Opening Concert in front of 10,000 fans.
Country music has always been the genre closest to Kim’s heart, having grown up on it, appreciating the storytelling nature of the form and that everyone can relate to the experiences sung about in a country song.
Kim will be a fantastic addition to this Rock 'N' Country Festival
